A Pioneer in the world of International Education in India spanning 2 decades of experience, Dr Shetty, has been an Educator, Speaker par excellence, Guide, Mentor and Administrator. He started his teaching career in the year 1996 adhering to National Curriculum teaching chemistry for students of I.C.S.E, C.B.S.E, ISC, HSC boards and IIT entrance preparation along with undergraduate students (BSc).
In the year 2003 he moved on to the International Curriculum with RIMS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL & JUNIOR COLLEGE Juhu, Mumbai being his first experience as a Head of Department for A – levels and IGCSE section.
From 2007 he ventured into the IB world by joining Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai as Subject Coordinator of Chemistry IB and IGCSE and supervised extended essay and TOK of more than 200 students. As and an Accredited IGCSE Internal assessment examiner and examiner for IBDP Higher Level Chemistry Paper 2, Extended essay and CAIE he has been marking scripts since the last 15 years.
His expertise in the world of Education and capacity as the Vice Principal of JBCN International School, Borivali helped the school to achieve affiliation for both ICSE and CIE boards. JBCN International School, Oshiwara successfully achieved the IBDP affiliations in record time under Dr Shetty as the Principal of the School. He has been delivering training, workshops and lectures for parents, teachers and students for enhanced learning programs, career prospectus and futuristic learning tools for students of International curriculum in the last 15 years at multiple stages. He has to his credit several scientific articles and a chemical review on renewable Polymeric blends published in esteemed Indian and International Journals.
