Prof. Lokhande has a vast experience of 30 years in the Higher Education Sector as Lecturer, Reader and Professor in Chemistry from 1981-2010 in University of Mumbai. He has to his credit 111 PhD and 24 MSc. by research Students under his supervision and able guidance.
In the Year 2010 Prof Lokhande joined 'Jaipur National University as Founder & Head, School of Basic Science. In 2012 he was promoted as the Director of School of Basic Sciences and University Research Cell. Later in the same year he became the Chairman of University IPR Cell. Apart from awarding Ph.D to students he has also to his credit 8 + one is in process total Patents Filled, 300+ Papers presented in National/International Conferences and 350 + Papers in National & International Journals.
His interest of research work has been ranging in the field of Nuclear Chemistry, Separation Science Geochemistry and Development and Validation of new methods for Pharmaceutical drugs. Prof Lokhande has been awarded with JRF & SRF, UGC Fellowship awarded for Ph.D., Best Citizen of India by International Publishing House, Delhi and Honoured by Jaipur National University,Jaipur for best services for the University.
Prof Lokhande is a Member of Indian Chemical Society, Indian Council of Chemists, Indian Society of Nuclear Chemists and Allied Scientists-BARC, Indian Society of Thermal Analysis—BARC, National Association Nuclear and Radiochemistry -BARC
